Sons of the American Revolution
About Us & Our Officers
The purpose of the Sons of the American Revolution is .."to perpetuate the memory of those who, by their services or sacrifices during the war of the American Revolution, achieved the independence of the American People." As a historical, educational, and patriotic, non-profit corporation, we seek to maintain and expand the meaning of patriotism, respect for our national symbols, the value of American citizenship, and the unifying force of "e pluribus unum" that was created from the people of many nations -- one nation and one people.
Members of the HVCSAR meet at American Legion - Post 11 at 279 Canal Street, Lancaster, Ohio, 43130, on the 3 rd. Saturday of every month. Prospective members are always welcome to attend one of our meetings - and acquaint themselves with us. We are active in Fairfield - Hocking - Licking - and Perry counties. Additional information about the SAR, and our activities, can be found on our Membership/Links Page and our Upcoming Events Page.
